Every two years, an international outdoor exhibition with a changing focus on the latest trends in Land and Environmental Art takes place in the Safiental (Grisons, Switzerland). After New Land Art<\/em> (2016), Horizontal – Vertical<\/em> (2018),\u00a0Analog – Digital<\/em> (2020), and\u00a0Learning from the Earth<\/em> (2022). The theme for 2024 is: What if? Songs from Tomorrowlands<\/a>.<\/i><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Around 15 national and international artists will create temporary works related to the theme, in dialogue with the landscape and mostly in outdoor spaces. The works are distributed throughout the entire Safiental (25km in length, 150km\u00b2 in area) and can be visited without charge for about four months a year. \u00a0Among the more than 60 contributors to previous editions are works by Lita Albuquerque, Ursula Biemann, Julius von Bismarck, James Bridle, Bob Gramsma, Ingeborg L\u00fcscher, !Mediengruppe Bitnik, Raumlabor, Analia Saban, Roman Signer, Steiner\/Lenzlinger, Ben Vautier and many others.<\/p>\n A short guide with a map provides the exact locations of the artworks and interesting facts about the exhibition, the individual works, Land and Environmental Art and the Safiental. A catalog will be published towards the end of the Biennale. An event and educational program as well as guided tours are offered.
