The performance and installation artist has literally gone into the earth and connected with the “Wood Wide Web”. In a filmed performance, the artist had herself buried in the forest floor. While she slowly frees herself from the soil, she interacts with roots (which she also wears as a dress) and three bronze hands (of herself, her daughter and her mother), which stand for the passing on between generations. What remains as an installation is the hole in the ground, the root dress and the three hands. A video documentation of the performance can be seen in the vestibule of the Thalkirch church.<\/p>\n
