The Berlin artist permanently transplants a larch tree native to the Safiental valley above the local tree line, above which no trees could previously grow due to climatic conditions. However, the tree line visible today runs along the actual tree line of more than 50 years ago. The tree standing on the Tom\u00fcl Pass shows an invisible status quo and is at the same time a glimpse into the future. It becomes a monument of a new, constantly changing nature and is designed as a long-term project.<\/p>\n
