The Art Biennale\u00a0ART SAFIENTAL<\/strong>\u00a0(July 18 – Novemer 1, 2020)\u00a0<\/span>will take place in the Safien Valley (Grisons\/Switzerland). For the third time\u00a0<\/span>since its inception in 2016, i<\/span>nternational artists will create temporary works in dialogue with landscape and nature.\u00a0These artworks will be freely accessible (and presented free of charge) throughout the Safien Valley.\u00a0<\/i><\/span>The on-site artistic works result from a dialogue with nature and environment.\u00a0Created in the spirit of a\u00a0transdisciplinary practice, they\u00a0<\/span>are concerned with questioning, exploring and\u00a0<\/span>revising<\/span>\u00a0t<\/span>he historical term\u00a0<\/span>Land Art<\/a><\/strong>. They might also be seen as\u00a0potential proposals for Land Art of the future which integrates landscape, nature, environment, history\u00a0and\u00a0society. In other words, the created works reimagine Land Art\u00a0as a practice that\u00a0consolidates the environmental, historical and societal aspects. The 2020\u00a0thematic focus\u00a0is:\u00a0ANALOG\u00a0– DIGITAL.<\/strong><\/p>\n The exhibition is accompanied by an\u00a0exhibition guide incl.\u00a0hiking map<\/a>,<\/em> which provides visitors with the\u00a0 artworks’s\u00a0exact location and interesting facts about Land and Environmental Art, the exhibition Art Safiental,\u00a0its individual works, and the Safien Valley.
